Product Description

Stainless Steel 309 Coils contain a large amount of chromium compared to other stainless steel, offer higher corrosion & oxidation resistance. Type 309 SS Alloy mainly divided into austenitic, ferrite and martensitic steels. These SS Coils also possess higher tensile strength and toughness compared to 304 SS due to more chromium.

Hot Rolled Stainless Steel 309 Coils can be welded using standard resistance and fusion welding with or without filler materials. These hot rolled coils high-temperature reheating and quenched rapidly to improve coil toughness. Annealing is performed on Cold Rolled UNS S30900 SS Coils to reduce internal stress. The firebox working process is used to increase the hardness of the coil.
